Alternative Medicine

Alternative Medicine

The core problem with medicine today is that we have raised generations of physicians who believe that treating disease without drugs or scalpels is quackery and ineffective.  The public also remains susceptible to the belief that drugs are curative.  Sometimes pharmaceuticals are absolutely necessary, but when taken for a long time, will eventually lead to side effects.  These side effects will often require another medication to control them.

The approach ….. of Alternative Medicine is to address the person and not just their symptoms or lab results.

Using what’s termed “molecular medicine,” we take a very broad perspective which includes the biology, physiology, biochemistry, and psychology of the person.  We attempt to take everything about that person into consideration.

One fundamental principle is our belief in the body’s ability to heal itself through an inherent capacity to self-regulate.  “Molecular medicine” supports this innate quality through the combination of nutritional and environmental medicine.
