“There are many effective approaches to healing.  There’s the Oriental and Ayurvedic perspective, the Western perspective with drugs and surgery, homeopathic and herbal medicine, physical manipulation through chiropractic and osteopathic, and many others.  I’ve chosen what suits me best because I love the investigation, of trying to understand what the causes are for the slow and steady decline in a person’s health.”

“Every person I’ve ever seen has had nutritional deficiencies of some kind or another.  I mean this both in terms of specific nutrients like vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and amino acids, but also people are not eating the right kinds of foods according to their biochemical or psycho-chemical type.  This goes back to the work of Dr. George Watson and Dr. William Kelly who worked out specific biochemical markers which determine a person’s “type”, and then uses individualized nutritional programs with specific nutrients tailored to each patient.”

“If a person becomes deficient, their vitality begins to falter and then they become susceptible to environmental toxins.  Their health then begins to falter and they start to have symptoms.  This first stage is where most people find themselves.  They don’t feel well, they go to their physician, but nothing really shows up on lab tests.  They’re told everything is fine, but the person instinctively knows they are not well.”

“My approach is simple and straight-forward because it’s often just a matter of improving their nutritional status and helping the body to get rid of stored environmental toxins.  The first step is to evaluate the possible causes of a person’s condition, then to re-establish optimal nutrient levels through nutrition and intravenous nutritional therapies.  Then finally, to use various methods of detoxification.  This can be through herbs, homeopathy, saunas, ozone, there are any number of ways.”

Dr. Haskell’s approach may seem “old school” but at the core of every human being is the miraculous ability or wisdom to self-regulate, to rejuvenate, and to improve our health.
